Arai Profile review from motorcyclegearreview.com
Submitted by admin on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 19:37.Product strengths: quality, fit, materials, and ventilation are top notch. Arai's model line is really tailored to different headshapes, this helmet really is about the only one in which I fit perfect in. Of the others on the market, for comfort and snugness, this was my only choice. Plus all the pads (cheekpads and others) are changeable to suit specific needs.
Product weaknesses: changing shield could be easier, it is not as "quick" as they advertise.
Overall Opinion: kind of expensive when compared to other helmets. I feel other manufacturers are now starting to catch up in quality at a lower cost. However I do love my helmet, and if price was no object I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Review from motorcyclegearreview.com on Arai Profile
Submitted by admin on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 19:31.Product strengths: Lightweight, excellent fit and finish, low amount of wind noise, extremely soft interior padding, excellent venting, fits my head great. Of all the helmets I've tried on and/or tested, this is by far the best all-around helmet I was able to find for my head.
Product weaknesses: Slightly awkward to change visors (let's just say not nearly as easy as some other helmet companies), visors are a tad expensive, liner in front of helmet shifts very slightly (hard to tuck hair back without pushing the liner around... small piece of velcro should fix).
Arai Profile review from motorcyclegearreview.com
Submitted by admin on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 19:25.Product strengths: After 10 years of riding with my Shoei RF700, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I always thought the fit could have been better for me so after exhaustive overanalysis and trial and error I arrived at the Profile for its elongated or oval fit. The helmet is gorgeous and its fit and finish are second to none. I felt like I'd stepped out of a time machine when I put it on. Wow have helmets changed. I took my first ride and was

Arai Classic/m review from motorcyclegearreview.com
Submitted by admin on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 19:03.Product strengths: Fit, comfort, air movement, durability, protection.
Product weaknesses: Lack of good visor.
Overall Opinion: I am on my second Arai Classic. Was wearing the first one during a high-side get-off on my first Road King. Every technician and doctor in the ER had more interest in that helmet than they did in me. It clearly -- I was told repeatedly -- saved my life. I have an Arai full-face that I also like very much. Most of my riding is in groups, however, and it's hard to be sociable with a full face helmet on your head. The Classic is the most comfortable helmet I own and offers very, very good protection.

Awesome helmet... but TRY IT ON FIRST!!!
Pros: Wicked design (in my opinion). There is some damn cool Japanese writing on it that you can't really see in the photos. The helmet is super comfortable and has plenty of venting options. The face shield fogs up when the vents are closed like any other helmet, but the fog is gone before you hit 2nd gear. It also disperses wind REALLY well, especially when in a full tuck behind the windshield.
